The quality of the Acacia Group Experience is dependent upon our relationships with our partner organizations who are working in the host communities. The Acacia Group works closely with our community partners and their organizations to ensure that the presence of our socially responsible learners complements the efforts already underway in the host community.
We value our community partners and work diligently to ensure that excellent working relationships are developed and sustained. Our partner agencies have established credible reputations and they demonstrate and practice good community development principles and approaches. We visit our partners on site and work closely with them to determine how the learners that we bring can best be prepared to engage in the work of the community. We endorse and support the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and seek to partner with agencies committed to the achievement of these goals.
