Testerazo is a small (estimated population is less then 2,000) community on Mexico’s Highway 3 between Tecate and Ensenada in the North Baja state of Mexico. There are mixed socio-economics in the community. Members of some families are able to work in the United States and commute back and forth each week while other families live with multigenerational family members in small poorly constructed homes barely able to pay the rent and provide food each day.

PEACE Isla Mujeres began with a small group of volunteers interested in the growth, future and integrity of social projects on the island. After a few informal conversations around kitchen tables, weekly meetings open to the community were established and together with the collaboration of PEACE Mexico A.C., a newly hired executive director and a gang of volunteers and community organizations, a new community-based nonprofit was formed. PEACE Isla Mujeres consists of both locals and foreigners who care greatly for Isla Mujeres.

Me to We is a new kind of social enterprise for people who want to help change the world with their daily choices. Through their media, socially responsible choices and leadership experiences, they support Free the Children's work with youth creating global change. Half of Me to We's annual profits on an annual basis are given to their charitable partner Free the Children with the other half reinvested to sustain the growth of Me to We. To date Free the Children has built over 500 schools bringing the fundamental right of education to over 50,000 childrent every days.
