Short-term
Individuals or organizations may chose to participate in a short-term engagement in a select community; in this case we work well in advance of a planned arrival time with the NGO to determine the needs of that community and to generate a match to the desired learning experience for the participants.
Part of the registration fee contributes to materials that are used during the residency and then can be of benefit once the learners have left. Additionally, to maintain the relationship with the community, the Acacia Group may return there several times through the year with other groups to continue the support that has been initiated and to avoid one off visits that may add only marginal value to the community.
