While many organizations now address CSR strategies as a corporate imperative, the role of The Acacia Group is to shift those strategies from what can be outward facing public relations exercises to inward facing strategic initiatives that support long-term environmental, social and fiscal sustainability.
It is the belief of The Acacia Group that this can come about by using leadership as a lever for organizational change. By exposing developing leaders to the delivery of service-based CSR in developing communities, transformational learning can occur that can prompt the leader to develop more understanding of themselves, their roles and responsibilities within their company, the communities in which they do business and ultimately leadership itself.
